Panthers Dominate District Awards

After going undefeated in 12-4A play to claim the football district championship, the Hillcrest Panthers were rewarded heavily on the all-district team.

Senior wide receiver/safety Tony White (pictured) was named the all-around Most Valuable Player. Quarterback Rocky Reyes was named Sophomore of the Year. And head coach Andy Todd was named Coach of the Year.

Deandre Woods, Anterric Maxey, Wilson Look, and Steve Williams earned spots on the offensive all-district team, while Edward Bookman, Roland Robertson, Braylon Adams, and James Myles were named to the defensive all-district team.

Hillcrest finished 8-3 and lost to Highland Park, 49-14, in the second round of the playoffs.
