“Mike and Nancy Killough (6337 Prestonshire) have hosted the Preston Hollow 4th of July Parade for 30+ years. It starts in front of their home with raising of the flag and the Pledge of Allegiance. Families festively dress their kids, bikes, scooters, wagons, pets, etc., and walk a short distance down the street. Afterwards, they award prizes to the children, provide lemonade and bloody marys, and some sweet treats. It is a special event for the neighborhood.”
