I find this entire forum ridiculously hilarious. Whether you are for or against ESD, you are all making complete asses out of yourselves. I am under the assumption that a lot of these people are adults, and to see adults act this way is crazy. There are some of you who are arguing like you are five year old girls. Is it ridiculous to think that it’s possible for adults to have a civilized conversation without sounding like a bunch of immature, [REDACTED] young girls. I think everyone needs to just relax and not make this such a big deal.

C’mon people. How dense are you? Nancy is a supporter of the plaintiffs. She knows that by going right up to the edge of satire, her posts mock all that the ESD supporters say.
There is plenty of truth in what the ESD supporters state, but only when stated in humility and moderation. Nancy knows that, in the extreme, that validity evaporates. She goes to the outrageous extreme in order to undermine any reasonable ESD supporter. And it’s pretty darn effective.

Its a shame to see all this mudslinging amognst christians. It is a utter shame. What happened to Matthew 2:25? Acts 7:26? Romans 12:10? Romans 14:10? Romans 14:13? First Corinthians 1:10-11? practically ALL of First Corinthians 6? come on people. i am not episcopalian, but you guys do read the same bible right? i realize not all people posting here may be christians, but if you are, CHECK YOURSELF. whats important is these schools raising strong young american christian men and women, and us older ones being an example to them. the “family” or “house” i hear in this isnt just one school. the body of Christ is one whole, and we should conduct ourselves as such, if for none other than to bring Him glory amognst unbelievers. all the negativity in this situation, from the initial sin, to the sin of us maliciously bashing eachother doesnt just reflect bad on one school, one diocese(sp?), one family or what not. It reflects badly on the entire body of Christ. the task now is to repent, forgive, and figure out what went wrong where, to see something this childish doesnt happen again. How do we see to it that men like cambell dont go that far to begin with? how do we counsel men like his former office mate who should have been the first to get in cambell’s face and call him on it? fix those core issues, and this never happens except in secular schools. Grown faculty gossiping about students like some high school girls? seriously? IDK what sport “jane” played, but where is the coach’s stiff arm for being late to practice when she was goofing off in the teacher’s office? those are all things that would prevent this kind of stuff if they worked as intended. so stop bashing eachother and work together to fix the school, the community, the city, and so on.

@ESDneighbor the signs that state “this is our house” have absolutely nothing to do with the verdict of the trial. This slogan became prevalent in the school on the first day of orientation. This saying goes hand-in-hand with our new anti-bullying program. Please do not preach about how the people of ESD are bullies, it is a very friendly community. We have all come together in support of OUR school during a rough time and we are being criticized for this? I guess I just don’t understand your logic. It seems as if your total animosity towards ESD has no where else to be expressed other than here, where you can receive no judgement when you articulate your seemingly close minded opinion.

@Avid follower, don’t be so quick to flaunt your intelligence or the relative stupidity of others–Nancy or anyone else. For starters, you need to watch your grammar a little more carefully.

The above sentence from a recent post of yours uses the subjunctive mood incorrectly. It should read like this:

“If I WERE still teaching a logic class, I would use them to show how not to make an argument.”
