We have had a tsunami of doorbell ringers pitching many things including subscriptions. They all seem to have been trained by the same person- when you go to the door they act as if they just heard the funniest joke on headsets- followed by their pitch. Even asking them to leave through the door does not deter them. I have had to resort to calling 911, but by then they are long gone.
