Mary Cahoon of Cambridge is Quite the Artist

Cambridge Middle School art teacher Michelle Noah and 7th grader Mary Cahoon

Mary Cahoon, a 7th grade student at The Cambridge School of Dallas, was awarded 2nd place at the 2012 Private School Invitational last week.

The competition was hosted by Fort Worth Country Day School and Mary Lamb, renowned sculptor and painter served as the head judge.

Cahoon won with her cut paper collage title “Dog Sled,” And by the looks of her colorful dress, hip glasses, and artsy black hat, I have a feeling we’ll be seeing more of Mary on the art scene very soon.
