Gents Place Mixes Whiskey With Whiskers
The Gents Place, a new men’s salon in the Preston Oaks Shopping Center, was one of four tonsoriums nationwide that hosted BARbershops this month. (The others were in New York, Chicago, and Washington, D.C.) Each one-day-only event paired Gentleman Jack whiskey with gratis grooming services such as nail buffing, haircuts, and beard trims. Wait … beard trims? And here I was, assuming my chrome dome meant the Gents Place had nothing to offer me.
