New Spec’s on Preston and Royal Open For Business

On Friday, the new Spec’s Wine and Spirits opened at the northwest corner of Preston and Royal, giving Preston Hollow residents yet another option for alcoholic purchases.

The big-box liquor store opened in the former Blockbuster building. The first Spec’s opened in Preston Hollow Village, on the east side of Central Expressway, near Total Wine and More and the future Trader Joe’s.

    I am surprised it is right next to a church (St. Lukes).
    Tom Thumb and restaurants in that center sell beer and wine, but anyone know if they had to get a variance to sell hard liquor?

    They only sell Beer and Wine, no liquor.

    Yes, its a shame we can’t buy liquor anywhere. Most other states its available in the Grocery Store :( .
