Oliver Barrels Into Record Book

Although the Jesuit Rangers lost to Lake Highlands, 20-17, last Friday night, senior wide receiver Jake Oliver became the state’s all-time leader in receptions.

Oliver caught 15 passes for 174 yards to give him 274 career catches. The University of Texas commit surpassed former Longhorn Jordan Shipley’s record of 264.

The Rangers (5-2, 2-2) play at Pearce at 7:30 p.m. Friday.
