What in The Hollow Are You Doing This Weekend?

Because I know that there’s really only one event on everyone’s mind this weekend, I’ll keep this brief. And just in case you haven’t decided what to bring yet, pick up a copy of this week’s paper to find some winning Superbowl snack recipes from local chefs.

Hockaday’s Upper School students perform Almost, Maine at 7:30 p.m. tonight and again at the same time on Saturday.

If you’ve got youngsters who are interested in science, or youngsters who you’d like to be interested in science, bring them to NorthPark Center at 2 p.m. on Saturday when Mad Science presents “Up, Up, and Away,” a show that will probably be as entertaining as it is educational.

More weekend fun after the jump!

If you don’t think that high school students are capable of creating incredible art, stopping by Episcopal School Dallas‘ AP art exhibit will probably change your mind. The reception is at 6 p.m. on Saturday.

At 8 p.m. on Saturday, Parish Episcopal Upper School dance students present “The Rave – by Edgar Allen Glow.” If the dancing is even half as good as the title, which is the most clever play on words that I’ve seen in a very long time, I’d consider it an evening well spent.

If you’re not interested in watching the Superbowl, since the ‘boys aren’t playing, we’ve got a couple other options on Sunday to keep you entertained.

Hockaday’s Upper School students are performing Almost, Maine at 2 p.m. on Sunday.

Dallas International School students will perform a concert at 4 p.m. on Sunday at  UTD’s performance hall.
