Lacrosse Super Regionals This Weekend

Three Preston Hollow teams — Episcopal School of Dallas, Jesuit, and St. Mark’s — qualified for the Texas High School Lacrosse League super regionals this weekend in The Woodlands and Round Rock.

Jesuit (13-2) has a first-round bye as the No. 2 seed from the North District. The Rangers will take on the winner of the fist-round game between Austin Anderson and an opponent to be determined from the South District at 3 p.m. Sunday in The Woodlands.

ESD (12-6) is the No. 3 seed from the North and will take on Bowie (13-7) at noon on Saturday in The Woodlands. The winner of that game takes on The Woodlands (18-0) at noon on Sunday at The Woodlands.

St. Mark’s (14-3), the No. 4 seed from the North, will face an opponent to be determined from the South District at 1 p.m. Saturday in Round Rock. The winner of that game plays Austin Westlake (14-4) at 1 p.m. Sunday in Round Rock.

Highland Park (13-3) is the other team from the North District. The Scots have a first-round bye and will face the St. John’s-Austin High winner at 11 a.m. Sunday in Round Rock.

The four second-round winners advance to the state tournament May 4-5 in Plano.
