Lamplighter’s Sheila Stewart Retiring After 48 Years

Sheila Stewart will be retiring after a 48 years at The Lamplighter School. I knew her as Mrs. Leventhal, but she also taught as Mrs. McCartor. The school is asking for memories, stories and well wishes to be submitted by Friday, May 17 via email to: A tribute book will be compiled as a gift at the end of the school year.

    I adored Mrs. Leventhal. I remember her being so kind! Sad to hear that she’s retiring.

    I, too, adored her. She was very kind, patient and quite the C.S. Lewis storyteller.
