His older brother, Jordan, might grab most of the headlines on the golf course, but Steven Spieth is finding success on the basketball court — and at an Ivy League school, no less.

Spieth, a Jesuit graduate and freshman at Brown University, was named the Ivy League co-rookie of the week for scoring a career-high 11 points during a 68-65 loss to Niagara on Dec. 29.

Spieth has started all 11 games this season for the Bears (6-5) while averaging 5.9 points and 5.5 rebounds per game. The 6-foot-6 guard also grabbed a career-high nine rebounds on Dec. 22 against Northwestern.

Brown will host Rhode Island tonight and will begin Ivy League play on Jan. 18 at Yale.
