Stars Want Your Kids to Try Hockey For Free
If you live in Preston Hollow, then you’ve no doubt already enjoyed Todd Jorgenson’s story on Dallas Stars icon Mike Modano in our March edition. (If you don’t live in Preston Hollow, you can download a PDF of that edition on the right side of this page.) Todd’s story says Modano plays a key role in the Stars’ Little Rookies program, which offers four free hockey lessons to kids ages 4 to 8.
I’ve already signed up my 5-year-old to participate this summer. But if you want to let your kid test the frozen waters first, perhaps you’ll want to register for Try Hockey for Free, a one-day event that the Stars are hosting Saturday at the American Airlines Center.
