New Field Leaves Parish Feeling Blue

As you might have heard (or seen), Parish Episcopal School installed blue turf on its football field this summer, following in a nationwide trend that includes college programs such as Boise State and Central Arkansas.

The field had its regular-season unveiling on Friday night when Parish hosted Glen Rose. The visual flair might have given the blue-clad Panthers an edge in terms of camouflage, but it didn’t result in a victory, as Glen Rose rallied with two touchdowns in the final three minutes to win 46-42.
