  • Men In Heels You Say? I’m So There

The Dallas County Sexual Assualt Coalition (DCSAC) is definitely putting a unique spin on their “Walk A Mile in Her Shoes” event on Sept. 28, 9 a.m.-noon, at the Diamond Doctor showroom in Preston Center. Men, women and children are all invited to raise awareness about sexual violence by strutting in high heels for a mile around the Preston Center for the event. Funds raised will benefit DCSAC programs that improve services for survivors of sexual assault and promotes public awareness for prevention of sexual violence. It should be a blast to see grown men strutting their stuff around in heels. Also new to the event this year is the free stiletto decorating contest, with cash prizes for winners. Registration is from 8:30 to 9:35 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 28. Cost is $40 per male walker, $120 for a team of four men, and $30 for women and children under 14. More info can be found here:
