Saturday April 30th from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. to Sunday May 1st from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. come check out the Rummage Roundup at Freeway Hall located at Dallas Market Center 2200 North Stemmons Freeway.Admission is free! Hip & Hippie, a candle company founded by Faryn Clark, spa owner, and Deann Jacobs, will be featuring their products which make it easy to support the planet and go green!The candles are dye free, additive free, made with soy, and have a lead free wick, which is great, but the best thing about these candles is that they can even grow flowers! Hip & Hippie’s candles are packaged with lids and labels made of seed paper which can be easily planted in your home garden.

Rise and Shine 5K Walk and Run
The 11th annual Rise and Shine 5K Walk and Run will be held Sunday, April 17th at Reverchon Park. The event will include a 5K walk and run, The Johnny Stallings 1K Fun Run, a petting zoo, free food and drinks, and many more family friendly activities for anyone participating. The festivities begin at noon, and the Post-Race Party kicks off at 1:45pm. All proceeds from the run will directly benefit the children who attend The Rise School of Dallas.
