You better watch out. You better not cry. You better not pout. I’m telling you why: Newt Gingrich is coming to town.
That’s right, the former Speaker of the House and failed presidential candidate will sign copies of his novel Victory at Yorktown at 7 p.m. Monday at the Barnes & Noble across from NorthPark Center. To add to the excitement, Gingrich’s wife, Calista, will sign copies of her children’s book, Land of the Pilgrims’ Pride.
The folks at Barnes & Noble are expecting such a big turnout for this twin bill that they’ve issued the following instructions:
Please present a Barnes & Noble receipt for one of the Gingrichs’ books beginning at 9:00 am, November 19 to get your ticket to save a place in line. Purchase not necessary, but priority place in line will go to those with a Barnes & Noble receipt.
If you were considering patronizing Tom Thumb, Blue Mesa, or any of the other businesses in the Lincoln Park shopping center on Monday, consider yourself warned.
