Hockaday Ready to go Hollywood
After months of preparation, the Hockaday School is hosting its 2011 benefit Saturday in the Penson Athletic Center. This year’s event, Hockaday Goes Hollywood, is chaired by Therese Rourk and will support the Ela Hockaday Fund for Faculty Excellence. After a cocktail reception and silent auction, the seated dinner will begin. The evening will culminate with a live auction featuring a 6 day, 7 night vacation in Punta Mita, Mexico. Molly and Gregg Engles have donated the 11,300 square foot home with 9 bedrooms, a gym, and three pools. The house comes fully staffed with a maid service and chef. Other enticing items up for bid include 12 tickets to the March 14 Lady Gaga concert at American Airlines Center, donated by Tiffany and Mark Cuban.
