Medical Clinic Launch Will Benefit Local Schools

A new CityDoc urgent-care place is opening on Thursday at Preston and Royal, and apparently the 4 p.m. launch party will also be a benefit for Hillcrest High School and several of its parochial neighbors: Good Shepherd Episcopal, St. Mark’s, and Ursuline.

Each campus will receive a donation, says company spokeswoman Kelly Hunter (who didn’t get specific as to how much that sum will be, or what form it’ll take), and anyone who shows up to the event can get a voucher for a $5 school physical. Not bad.
