Raphael’s has been an institution in Dallas and in the Metroplex area ever since. Rafa’s — the sister to Raphael’s — continues the same Mexican family traditions, providing great Tex-Mex and Mexican specialty dishes. The menu ranges from popular nachos or fajitas to the exotic shrimp enchiladas or snapper a la Feliz. Rafa’s also has a wide selection of carb-friendly items including choices of chicken, fish or vegetable dishes.

Come enjoy our full bar menu including Mexican and domestic beers, a variety of wine and super margaritas (try our house special, the fresh lime margarita). And the TV’s in the bar are always tuned into sports.

Our dining rooms feature cozy, bright and festive colors, with the feel of a tropical cafe. Rafa’s Cafe is family oriented and child-friendly with a relaxed and casual atmosphere where you will feel at home.

Hand-crafted pies with premium forward ingredients are baked in our custom pecan wood fired oven. The combination of fiery tones along with natural elements of cedar and copper represents the true feeling of Fireside’s concept.

Utilizing only the best vendors available, many of our ingredients, such as the Parmesan Reggiano and the Prosciutto are imported from Italy. The Fresh Mozzarella, and Scamorza are purchased from The Dallas Mozzarella Company. All the cheeses are handmade following centuries-old recipes, just like the cheeses used to be made in Europe. They have won multiple national awards. Other ingredients such as the black mission olives, go at cheese and pepperoncinis are flown in from California. Signature ingredients which are made in-house include the balsamic mustard vinaigrette, DMT meatballs, roasted red pepper ranchhouse dressing and white anchovy Caesar dressing.

When you’re in the mood for premium, wood-fired pizza; fresh, imaginative salads; signature cocktails, thoughtful wines; and a relaxed, come-as-you-are experience – please give FIRESIDE PIES a try.

Bolsa is located on Davis just west of the Bishop Arts District in Oak Cliff in a historic building known as Settles Garage. The original owner and namesake built the core building block by block himself and established a reputation for great service within a very solid and attractive building.

Bolsa has paid tribute to the Settles Garage by restoring many original elements while reclaiming and reusing virtually all the parts that fit into today’s operation from the original garage doors on Davis to the original cement floor salvaged for paving stones on the new patio. New doors and windows are also big in a nod to Ole Settles to keep the natural light and fresh air flowing in his space.

The location in Oak Cliff was chosen based on the sense of community that exists in this somewhat eclectic, bohemian neighborhood, which is a perfect match to the Bolsa experience. Bolsa, like the local streets of Oak Cliff, is just minutes from Dallas but a world away from the big city crush.

Bolsa serves lunch and dinner seven days a week from an ever evolving, carefully thought out menu designed by Chef Dodds. The kitchen has no freezer or fryer by design. Many of the ingredients in the kitchen are also available in the Bolsa market area. Locally grown in Texas, is organic and of compelling quality, Chef Dodds finds a way to build it into a dish or sandwich or bite to die for.
