DMA Announces New Board Members

The Dallas Museum of Art board of trustees has announced that Melissa Fetter will succeed Margot Perot as chairman.

Fetter joined the board in 2006 and has served as chair of the development committee, chair of Art Ball, and co-chair of the Islamic Cultural Initiative, among other roles. She and her husband, Trevor, have supported the DMA since 2005.

Catherine Rose has been named the vice president of the board, with Susan Montgomery serving as treasurer. Walter Elcock will continue his role as president of the museum, and Xuan-Thao Nguyen will remain secretary.

The following were elected to serve as trustees for a three-year term at the annual board meeting: Victor Almeida, Lucilo Peña, Kelli Questrom, Gayle Stoffel, Elaine Agather, Barbara Durham, Tom Fagadau, and Carolyn Rathjen.

The officers nominating committee was chaired by Deedie Rose and included Mary Cook, Walter Elcock, Jeremy Halbreich, Marguerite Hoffman, Debra Hunter Johnson, and Catherine Rose.
