Fire Station 27 Is Up And Running

Dallas First Assistant City Manager Ryan S. Evans, Dallas Fire Department's first woman firefighter Sherrie Wilson, the department's first African American firefighter Kenneth Parker, Dallas City Council woman Jennifer Gates, and Gates grandson Gambill Whitsitt, 2, along with Dallas Fire Chief Louie Bright III, along with other dignitaries cut the ribbon on fire station No.27.

The grand opening for Fire Station 27 finally took place on the morning of Dec. 10. Several city officials, including council member Jennifer Gates and Fire Chief Louie Bright III, gathered for the event and participated in the ribbon cutting ceremony.
