Semper Gratus Honors Veterans
On April 16-18, Semper Gratus Inc. will host its second Helicopter Veterans Weekend. This event is meant for injured soldiers and veterans and those who support them, along with general outdoor enthusiasts. Participants can fly with soldiers, hunt feral hogs (which helps out the landowners and cattlemen in the area and provides meat for donation agencies), and get in some target practice at the shooting range. Live music will also be provided by Jack Ingram.
Proceeds go toward Feherty’s Troops First Foundation, which helps veterans of the Iraq and Afghanistan wars.
