Crime Reports Delayed This Week

UPDATE: Online access to Dallas Police Department incident reports continues to be delayed following an upgrade to the department’s reporting system.

“The Dallas Police Department and the City Communications and Information Systems(CIS) would like to thank the citizens and businesses of Dallas for your support and patience during the upgrade of our reporting system and Dallas Police Public Data Portal,” the department posted on the website.

The department anticipates access to be restored March 11.

UPDATE 3/1: Crime reports continue to be unavailable online with the Dallas Police Department. While older incident reports and arrest records are now available on the department’s website, system upgrades have not allowed newer reports to be posted, according to the open records department.

The crime reports for the Preston Hollow neighborhood continue to be delayed.

The Dallas Police Department is conducting system upgrades to improve its current reporting system, making the public portal unavailable for use.

People Newspapers will post the crime reports once the portal is back up and running.
