Skulduggery of the week: CONSTRUCTION DESTRUCTION
At 9:30 a.m. on June 6, a crane driving southbound on Preston Road ran over several barricades, worth $150 each, from the 5000 block of Preston Road to the 4700 block of Preston Road.
HIGHLAND PARK
6 MONDAY
At 1:44 a.m., Emily Caroline Watkins, 18, of Dallas, was arrested in the 4300 block of Beverly Drive on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.
7 TUESDAY
At 6:27 p.m., a shoplifter stole 10 bottles of wine, valued at $643.90, from Whole Foods in the 4100 block of Lomo Alto Drive.
8 WEDNESDAY
At 10:25 a.m., Zachary Health Wall, 34, of Dallas, was arrested in the 4100 block of Lomo Alto Drive on a charge of criminal trespass.
Between 11:30 p.m. on June 7 and 1 p.m. on June 8, a vandal shattered the window and cracked the windshield, causing $2,000 in damage to a Ford F250 in the 3400 block of Knox Street.
9 THURSDAY
At 3 a.m., Francis David Perez, 25, of Irving, was arrested in the 4300 block of Westside Drive on a charge of public intoxication.
Between noon on June 8 and noon on June 9, a thief stole $350 power washer from a house in the 4500 block of Fairway Avenue.
12 SUNDAY
Between 7:30 p.m. on June 11 and 1:45 a.m. on June 12, a wrongdoer entered a white 2010 Hyundai Santa Fe in the 3400 block of Drexel Drive and stole a book of checks.
At 5:10 a.m., Raul Arnulfo Trujillo, 29, of Dallas was arrested in the 4400 block of Eastern Avenue on a charge of public intoxication.

6 MONDAY
Between 1 and 11:30 p.m., a thief entered a black 2009 GMC truck in Preston Center and stole a $250 laptop and $660 in miscellaneous property.
8 WEDNESDAY
Between 11:30 a.m. on June 7 and 9:30 a.m. on June 8, a burglar broke into a black 2008 GMC Yukon in the 3900 block of Hanover Street and stole the third-row seat.
10 FRIDAY
Between 6:30 p.m. on June 9 and 9:20 a.m. on June 10, a burglar broke into a gray 2011 GMC Yukon in the 4300 block of Purdue Street and stole the third-row seat.
11 SATURDAY
Between 10 p.m. on June 10 and 10:30 a.m. on June 11, a scoundrel stole a $5,000 black 1999 Ford F150 from the 3400 block of Normandy Avenue.
12 SUNDAY
Between 1:45 and 3:45 p.m., a thief entered a black 2008 Toyota SUV in the 3700 block of Granada Avenue and stole $10 in miscellaneous property and a $50 briefcase.
