Jesuit Opens Soccer Playoffs Tonight
The Class 5A soccer playoffs have become an annual tradition for Jesuit since it joined the UIL a decade ago. Tonight, the Rangers will begin their playoff push against Plano West.
Jesuit (14-3-3) is the third seed from a tightly contested District 9-5A that included strong teams from Lake Highlands and Richardson Pearce. The Wolves (12-4-5) were the runner-up in District 10-5A during the regular season. The game is scheduled for 7 p.m. at Clark Stadium in Plano.
The Rangers are unbeaten in their last nine games, covering a span of more than six weeks. They have 12 shutouts this season.
