Attention, pet-seekers: this special, not-so-regional announcement is brought to you by your friends at Park Cities People/Highland Park Village.
It seems Highland Park Village is over the whole Groundhog-seeing-his-shadow thing that happens each year on Feb. 2. Instead, the shopping center has created “Found Dog Day,” an adoption event that will take place this Saturday. In need of a man’s-best-friend of your own? Here are the details:
WHAT: Found Dog Day, an Angie’s Friends adoption event seeking to place up to 30 abandoned dogs in happy new homes
WHEN: Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
WHERE: Center court of Highland Park Village (near Lela Rose)
P.S.: If you already own a furry friend but want to check out the event, feel free to bring Fido along. With offerings including water bowls, biscuits, and pet accessories on display, Highland Park Village will be more than dog friendly.
