I just want the same dentist VP Biden has. Those are some impressive teeth.

Maybe Texas has become the Washington, DC equivalent to Siberia.

I am shocked that a democratic administration would pander to the nation’s premier ambulance chasers.

You mean a democrat is allowed in Highland Park???? All the li’l “welcome home bushies” must must have forgotten to put up their “keep the dems out” signs. Knowledge is a bumper sticker or yard sign in the Park Cities.

you can’t throw a rock in the park cities without hitting a lawyer.

AD – there are plenty of Democratics in the Park Cities. We really aren’t as Stepford as people make us out to be.

Kersten, I guess I’m just driving on the wrong streets, seeing the wrong new houses (4 rooms up and 4 rooms down). eating at the wrong restaurants and reading the wrong blogs. Though I will give you the First Unitarian Church as a possibility there are democrats/liberals in the Park Cities. Just don’t know if any of the members actually live under the protection of the bubble.

@AD, I saw my first Obama for pres sticker on a brand new S500 sedan at Germany Park in April of ’07. Both Merritt and Charles (God bless you all in advance) played out their Hillary Vs. Obama political gun fight on these pages. As soon as Charles put up his “Obama for President” yard sign, dozens more went up. Wick Allison, the publisher of this newspaper and D Magazine, wrote an editorial endorsing Obama that was published in the latter and linked to the former. There are plenty of trial lawyers in this town that have always embraced the democrat agenda. We live in a very diverse community.

As I am shocked that a republican would pander to the nation’s health insurance companies and doctors…

No one likes lawyers until they need one.

Most Dallas County Democratic officials that were invited were instructed to be there by 10:30 AM for security. The Budd’s were Obama supporters from the beginning.

Thanks for the information. I do feel better about the diversity of the area. I guess the other more conservative side just stands out.
