Jesuit Debaters Make Like Soccer Team, Win State

Jesuit kids are, evidently, as fleet with their facts as they are with their feet. Barely a week after capping a perfect soccer season with a state title, word comes that Jesuit debaters snagged the top spot in the policy debate portion of the Texas Forensic Association state championship. But winning one state championship is [yawn] kind of tame. So Jesuit won two, more or less. The team of Carson Young and Sullivan McCormick and the team of Joel Diamond and Ryan Gorman were named co-champions, the only time in the tournaments 37-year history that teams from the same school have shared the crown. Bravo.
