If You Haven’t Met Tamborello, You Have Plenty of Opportunities

Sam Tamborello, the only Highland Park Town Council candidate not endorsed by the Highland Park Community League, dropped us a note to say that he’ll be at Town Hall to answer questions for the length of the early voting period.

Early voting began Monday and continues weekdays through May 4. Tamborello plans to be there from 9 a.m. to noon and from 1 to 3 p.m. each day.

He came by my house and asked for my vote in a door-to-door campaign. He stated that:
    – He has lived in Highland Park for 8 years
    – He and his wife do not have children.
    – He and his wife do have dogs.
    – He and his wife live west of the tollway.
    – He manages his investments.
    – He wants to bring a new perspective to the town council.
When I pressed him about the new perspective, he finally stated that the 911 system in HP is obsolete and he wants to have it updated.

Yes, I retired for “early voting days” and “the general election day”, and, I can be of more information from the voter guide produced by the Dallas Morning News (google the voter guide dallas morning news).

Something of interest for the HP voters to note: not one of the “HPCL endorsed slate” responded to the Dallas Morning News voter guide for information about themselves.

The only thing I’ve come across was a letter recently sent to me by the HPCL that I found of very little help. Something about long lists of of clubs and boards they belong to with their photo. HMMMM??

Does anyone ever wonder how they have enough time for all of those obligations and HP Town Hall Council?

Please come out and visit, and I look forward to meeting you. Thanks!

I want to sincerely thank the HP residents who have stopped by with their vote support.

I look forward to seeing more HP voters as the campaign heads into the final stretch (weather permitting).

    Thanks again!
