UPDATE: Il Cane Rosso Out at Chocolate Angel. Like Now.
I mentioned yesterday that Jay Jerrier’s mobile pizzaria Il Cane Rosso, which has been cohabitating with Chocolate Angel Too since January, is leaving the Preston/Forest lunch spot after this weekend. Jerrier confirmed as much in an e-mail I received at 12:04 a.m. today. How quickly things change. He just sent word that, actually, last weekend was his last:
“Effective immediately, as in tonight, Cane Rosso will no longer be at Chocolate Angel Too with our guerrilla restaurant. We are working to add some nights at Times Ten Cellars though.”
He’s not giving an details at the moment on why he’s leaving. Updates as things develop.
