Skulduggery of The Week Runner-Up

We sometimes have a hard time choosing the Skulduggery of the Week. Here’s the one that didn’t make the cut:

iCARAMBA!

Between 8:15 and 10:30 p.m. Oct. 13, a burglar entered a house in the 3800 block of Hawthorne Avenue and stole a $700 iPad, a $450 iPod Touch, a $150 iPod, and $550 cash.

To find out what we did choose, and to see the explanation for the expanded coverage of our police blotter, pick up today’s edition of Park Cities People.

Just a few comments on the “new” Skulduggery of the week section and managing editor’s letter:
    1. It’s great that you’re including surrounding Dallas area but do we really need all the shoplifting entries at Northpark? It’s not like people are going to stop shopping there because of this.
    2. Do you need to get out a map? There is no 3100 block of Marquette in University Park, the first UP address on Marquette is 3200. Anyone who’s lived in the Park Cities for more than 2 weeks knows that the addresses within the city limits of Dallas all start with 7xxx on the east side.
