45,000 Bottles of Beer and a Long Drive Home

It was estimated that over 45,000 beers would be sold during one World Series game at The Ballpark in Arlington this last weekend. Baseball. All-American family time. People driving home. Kids in the car.

I say we should worry a little less about the Snider Plaza Tom Thumb selling beer and put a little more focus on awareness for residents of all areas. But that’s just my opinion.

If you assumed everyone at the Ranger game during the World Series or ALCS had a beer that would be 1.2 beers per person per game… so as you said in an earlier post, maybe you just need to relax and have a beer.

Obviously, not everyone there had 1.2 beers but that puts it into perspective.
Almost everyone was carpooling and there was a shortage of cabs.
Did some people have too much and drive home? Sure, but that happens everywhere every night in the USA. Most people are responsible which is more than I can say about your driveling posts.
