What Shops Would You Like to See at Dallas Midtown?
On Monday, Beck Ventures purchased the 39-year-old Valley View Center for an undisclosed price from Florida-based LRN Partners, and yesterday, they announced their big plans for the site at LBJ Freeway and Preston Road.
The Dallas Morning News has the full story, but basically the center will be completely different within the next ten years. Jeff Beck said there will be “about 1.5 million square feet of retail storefronts, restaurants, residential units, office towers, and a high-rise hotel with condo towers.”
All I know is, it will be nice to see that center come to life. What would you like to see come into the center? I’ll keep my fingers crossed for another Torchy’s Tacos.
