Someone Get Officer Big Mac on The Phone

An iconic statue of Ronald McDonald, similar to this one, was beheaded in the Preston Oaks Shopping Center.

It is our sad duty to report that Ronald McDonald, who resided in the outdoor play area of the McDonald’s in the Preston Oaks Shopping Center, has been involved in a potentially fatal accident.

Although The Hamburglar should be a key suspect, at 9:05 p.m. on April 27, three suspicious men were shown on security camera footage near the play area where McDonald was situated. However, security cameras were not able to catch the next few minutes, as the head of the statue was subsequently removed from the body of the statue.

Manager Donnell Smith said they knew nothing about who may have committed the act and have since moved the headless figurehead from the play area to a storage area. Another manager on location said they were still trying to decide if they were going to get it fixed.

This isn’t the first incident of a Ronald McDonald statue meeting an untimely end, but hopefully it’s the last.
