Dealey, W.T. White Teachers Win $10K Grant from TI

Two Preston Hollow teachers were recently awarded a $10,000 grant from Texas Instruments. Susan Bourenane, a teacher at George Bannerman Dealey International Academy, and W.T. White High School’s Rachel Burnett received the grant for their innovation in teaching science, technology, engineering, and math. Five other DISD educators were also similarly rewarded.

Each recipient was awarded $5,000 to use at their discretion and an additional $5,000 to use for professional development or instructional technology in the classroom. The other five recipients are: Aaron Baldridge, School of Science and Engineering at Yvonne A. Ewell Townview Center; Molly Freid, North Dallas High School; Michael Jones, Moises E. Molina High School; Jayda Batchelder, Stockard Middle School; Veronda Washington, Irma Lerma Rangel Young Women’s Leadership School.
