What in The Hollow Are You Doing This Weekend?

We didn’t have space for a calendar in the paper this week, but that won’t stop us from letting you know what’s going on in your ‘hood this weekend.

As I mentioned here yesterday, Yavneh is hosting a blood drive today from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., so swing by if you’ve got time to make an easy donation that could potentially save someone’s life.

On Saturday, Ursuline is having a class agent brunch at 10 a.m. at Blue Mesa Grill.

If you’ve got kiddos, The Brothers Gromm are putting on a lively puppet show at 2 p.m. on Saturday in NorthPark Center’s North Court.

At 3 p.m. on Saturday, join local storyteller Jiaan Powers for an hour of engaging and interactive folktales at the Preston Royal Library.

As part of their ongoing book fair, the JCC will host Jacqueline Dembar Greene on Sunday afternoon to discuss her two newest books. At 1 p.m., she will discuss Speak Up, Tommy, and at 2:30 p.m., she’ll discuss The Crystal Ball.

I’ll be the first to insist that tea parties are an important crucial part of a girl’s childhood. Dallas International School clearly understands this, because they’re hosing a mother-daughter tea party at 2 p.m. on Sunday.
