Medical City Dallas Hospital Plans $114M Expansion
Medical City Dallas Hospital and Medical City Children’s Hospital are planning a $114 million dollar expansion.
Medical City CEO Erol Akdamar says the project came because of an increasing demand for critical care, oncology, transplant, surgical and emergency services.
Overall, 100 beds and 18 new stem cell patient rooms will be added, as well as a renovation of the emergency department and oncology rooms. Construction is projected to begin this fall.
