What in The Hollow Are You Doing This Weekend?

Cinco de Mayo is on Sunday, and since the weekend’s forecast looks sunny and warm(er), I’d suggest planting yourself on a patio with a margarita in each hand. Or that’s what I would do, if I drank. (Sidenote: who makes a good virgin margarita? Leave suggestions below, please!) Have one or five for me, but I’d skip the frozen ‘ritas, as it may still be a bit chilly for those. Here’s a look at the other events going on in your ‘hood.
The Town North YMCA is having a baseball parade and family outing at 5:30 p.m. tonight. The picnic will feature hamburgers and Pinkberry as well as a fire truck and games with prizes.

At 6 p.m. on Saturday, Norwood Flynn Gallery is hosting an opening reception for Austin A. James new show, entitled “Pull the Lion’s Mane.”
It’s time for the JCC’s monthly parents night out. It happens at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, so click here to register, and then enjoy a few hours of “me-time.”
At 9:30 a.m. on Sunday, the JCC is hosting a preschool open house. Also on Sunday, the J Youtheatre will present Disney’s Alice in Wonderland at 2 and 7 p.m.
