What in The Hollow Are You Doing This Weekend?

Hollow222Despite today’s gloomy outlook, the weekend is supposed to be at least partially sunny, which should make for some nice patio-sippin’ weather. Join the community at 9 a.m. on Saturday, at Parish Episcopal, for the second annual Dallas NEDA (National Eating Disorders Association) Walk. The noncompetitive walk will raise money for NEDA and The Elisa Project — two nonprofits who strive to raise awareness about eating disorders and the need for early intervention and treatment.
Also at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Greenhill is hosting it’s first 5k run. The “Go Green” race costs just $15 to enter, and includes a T-shirt.
At 2 p.m. on Saturday, bring your kids to NorthPark Center’s North Court for Tommy Terrific’s Wacky Magic Show. Supposedly the show will have your children “screaming with laughter” and on the edge of their seats — all while learning. Sounds like great fun for the whole family.
On Sunday, La Duni Latin Kitchen & Coffee Studio at NorthPark Center is offering a special Mother’s Day deal on their award-winning brunch buffet. Adults ring up at $28.95 with kids pricing in at $15.95 — what better way to spoil her?
