Neighborhoods to Celebrate Fourth of July
Details about Fourth of July celebrations throughout North Dallas are trickling in, either via email or because our eagle-eyed correspondents are spotting yard signs. Here’s what we know about so far:
Preston Hollow North Homeowners Association: A parade will start at 9 a.m. at the corner of Stichter Avenue and Tibbs Street, between Preston Hollow Elementary School and Preston Hollow United Methodist Church. It will end at the same location.
Greenway Parks Homeowners Association: A parade will begin at 10 a.m. in Stemmons Park.
Glen Meadow Estates Homeowners Association: The celebration in Glen Meadow Park will include a parade led by the Marsh Middle School ROTC. The parade begins at 9, but participants should arrive by 8:30 for registration and judging. Prizes will be awarded in five categories: decorated cars and trucks; bicycles, scooters, and skateboards; wagons, tricycles, and pedal cars; walkers and strollers; pets and their people.
