What in The Hollow Are You Doing This Weekend?


Skies may be gray today, but things should clear up just in time for the weekend. Here’s a look at what’s happening.

Tomorrow is your last chance to view Denise Fulton’s “Painted Forest” exhibit at Norwood Flynn Gallery. If you haven’t seen it yet, what are you waiting for? Go!

At 10:30 a.m. Saturday, bring your kids to Bookmarks at NorthPark Center, for “The Dramatic Difference,” a special events that explores stories through songs, instruments, and games. At 2 p.m., in the North Court, Xtreme Kidz Ntertainment will present “The Texas Show,” a “high-energy, fast-paced kids’ comedy production with dances, characters, puppets and audience participation.” Also at 2 p.m., artists from the Creative Arts Center of Dallas will continue their live demonstrations, on level one, near Nordstrom.

At 2 p.m. on Sunday, on level one, by AMC, the Friends of the Dallas Public Library are hosting a family-friendly tea party in honor of what would have been beloved children’s author Beatrix Potter’s 147th birthday. Tickets are $10 for kids an $15 for adults; get yours here.
