The big deal at tomorrow’s University Park City Council meeting will be the addition of a concrete pad and awning to the University Park Elementary School campus, in order to provide shade next to the school’s new sport court. Those who are opposed say that if the school district wants to create more shade, then it should plant more trees. The proposed changes that the council will be considering do include the planting of four cedar elms.
