Church, Government Leaders to Talk Ebola

Local government and church leaders will gather at Park Cities Baptist Church at 10 a.m. Wednesday to discuss the response to the recent Ebola crisis.

Those leading said forum include Dallas Mayor Mike Rawlings, Dallas County Judge Clay Jenkins, District 13 council member Jennifer Gates, and members of the Vickery Meadow Improvement District. They’ll meet with leaders from Temple Emanu-El, Wilshire Baptist Church, NorthPark Presbyterian Church, Unite Dallas, and Park Cities Baptist, and more than 100 other faith-based communities from the area.

A few other presenters include schools and nonprofits who helped with Ebola response in various ways during the past six weeks. At any rate, it sounds like a lot of folks will be packed into the Great Hall on the second floor of the Community Life Center.

Maybe the church leaders will lead the group in prayer not just for those suffering from Ebola, but also for the hysterical lunatics who kept their kids out of school earlier this month because they were afraid of Craig Jenkins’ Ebola cooties.
