Fashion Show to Begin Miss Texas Week
The 79th Miss Texas Scholarship Pageant will kick off the contest with a fashion show sponsored by Dillard’s NorthPark Center on June 27.
The 57 Miss Texas titleholders and 43 Texas Outstanding Teens will be introduced wearing summer fashions provided by the store. Other sponsors include Christian Dior of NorthPark Center and Adrianna Papell of Dillard’s.
Last year’s Miss Texas and Outstanding Teen, Monique Evans and Kassidy Brown, will make an appearance.
The fashion show is open to the public. The final crowning of Miss Texas, who competes for a $15,000 scholarship, will take place on July 4 at the Eisemann Center in Richardson. Tickets are available online.
