Police Report: August 31 to September 7

HIGHLAND PARK

2 WEDNESDAY
At 9:25 p.m., a burglar shattered a window of a white 2005 Chrysler sedan in a parking garage in the 4200 block of Oak Lawn Avenue, but didn’t steal anything.

3 THURSDAY
At 3:24 p.m., a resident of the 3100 block of Drexel Drivereported the theft of more than $17,000 worth of jewelry from the master bedroom of a house sometime between Aug. 9 and Sept. 3. Some contractors and members of a church youth group each passed through the house during that time frame.

5 SATURDAY
At 3:42 a.m., Maleny Martinez, 20, of Grand Prairie was arrested in the 4200 block of Oak Lawn Avenue on a charge of driving while intoxicated.

Between 10:45 p.m. on Sept. 4 and 8 a.m. on Sept. 5, a thief entered an unlocked white 2013 GMC Yukon in the 4300 block of Lorraine Avenue and stole the third-row seat. During the same time frame, a thief stole the third-row seat from a brown 2014 Cadillac Escalade in the 4500 block of North Versailles Avenue.

Between 9:30 p.m. on Sept. 4 and 8:30 a.m. on Sept. 5, a thief entered an unlocked black 2012 Chevrolet Suburban in the 4500 block of Bordeaux Avenue and stole the third-row seat, a credit-card holder, and $25 in cash.

7 MONDAY
At 8:45 a.m., Nichols Wayne Camp, 35, of Dallas was arrested at the intersection of Mockingbird Lane and Fairfield Avenue on a charge of driving while intoxicated.

UNIVERSITY PARK

31 MONDAY
At 6:35 a.m., a burglar broke into Goo Goo Eyes at the Miracle Mile shopping center and stole some eyeglasses.

2 WEDNESDAY
Between 8 p.m. on Sept. 1 and 8 a.m. on Sept. 2, a burglar broke into a black 2010 GMC Yukon in the 4200 block of Normandy Avenue and stole the third-row seat.

3 THURSDAY
Between 9 a.m. on Aug. 31 and 1 p.m. on Sept. 3, a burglar broke into a black 2013 Chevrolet Tahoe in the 4100 block of Normandy Avenue and stole the third-row seat.

4 FRIDAY
At 12:48 a.m., Daniel Miller, 26, was arrested in the 3400 block of Granada Avenue on a public intoxication charge.

Between 10 a.m. on Sept. 3 and 2 p.m. on Sept. 4, a thief entered an unlocked garage in the 4100 block of University Boulevardand stole a $550 Nuna Mixx stroller and a $200 Samsung television.

At 7:47 p.m., a shoplifter stole $25 worth of Tide laundry detergent from CVS at Park Cities Plaza.

5 SATURDAY
Between 10 p.m. on Sept. 4 and 5 a.m. on Sept. 5, a thief entered an unlocked white 2015 Ford F-150 in the 4000 block of Hanover Street and stole a $500 knife and two Covert digital cameras with a combined value of $450.

Between midnight and 6 a.m., a burglar broke into a silver 2014 GMC Yukon in the 4400 block of Hyer Avenue and stole the third-row seat. During the same time frame, a thief entered an unlocked silver 2014 Yukon in the 4300 block of McFarlin Boulevard and stole the third-row seat.

At 5:45 p.m., Colin Rosato, 18, of Greenwich, Conn., was arrested at Park Cities Plaza on a public intoxication charge.

6 SUNDAY
At 12:01 a.m., Roderick James Brogan, 21, of University Park was arrested in the 3200 block of Rosedale Avenue on a charge of furnishing alcohol to a minor, and Samantha Grace Hardin, 20, of University Park was arrested on a charge of consumption of alcohol by a minor.

Between 10 p.m. on Sept. 5 and 7:30 a.m. on Sept. 6, a burglar broke into a black 2014 GMC Yukon in the 4100 block of Shenandoah Avenue and stole the third-row seat and a $1,000 Remington rifle. During the same time frame, a third-row seat also was taken from a black 2010 Yukon, a black 2008 Yukon, and a 2013 Chevrolet Silverado in the 4300 block of Shenandoah.

Between 1:18 and 8 a.m., a burglar broke into a black 2009 GMC Yukon in the 3200 block of Caruth Boulevard and stole the third-row seat, $500 worth of baseball equipment, and a $495 Microsoft laptop computer.

Between midnight on Sept. 4 and 9:30 a.m. on Sept. 6, a thief stole an attached flat-screen television, valued at $2,000, from a back porch in the 3400 block of Wentwood Drive.
