NorthPark Center chose Catch Up & Read to be one of its 50 nonprofits to donate to as part of their 50th anniversary celebration.

NorthPark donated white boards and word games to help Catch Up & Read with its literacy intervention program.

Catch Up & Read was launched in 2009 to help at-risk elementary students reach grade level reading by third grade.

“These simple games and white boards feel special and engage our learners,” said Tish Nelson, a DISD teacher and Catch Up & Read instructor. “Our students understand the supplies are unique to the program and put them to good use.”
