Read Earns Basketball Honor at NYU
Former Highland Park standout Kaitlyn Read continues to excel on the court at New York University, where the junior guard recently was named to the D3Hoops.com Team of the Week.
Read tallied game highs of 20 points and 12 rebounds for the Violets (13-1) during a win over the University of Chicago on Jan. 22, then scored 14 points to lead a comeback win over Washington University two days later.
Read leads NYU this season with averages of 15.3 points and 7.1 rebounds. She has received the D3Hoops.com honor three times in her career.
