From Building Blocks to Robots at Parish
Looking for something free to do this weekend? How about watching a bunch of kids build and battle bots? Around 600 North Texas kids will be gathering at Parish Episcopal School to see who can construct the best robot.
The eighth annual North Texas First LEGO League (FLL) Regional Championship will test students to build and program an autonomous robot, follow presentations of team’s research projects and robot design. The teams will use LEGO MINDSTORMS technology to battle robots in two and a half minute matches.
The event goes from 8:30 a.m. to 5:45 p.m., and is free to the public.
