Medical City Dallas Hospital opened 123 new private patients rooms in the Building E tower on May 20.

The campus has added a total of 156,000 square feet, including 32 intensive care unit rooms, and 46 new orthopedic, neurology, and epilepsy patients rooms.

The sixth floor of Building E has been dedicated to the new joint restoration institute, which includes 12 patient rooms and advanced joint care treatment. The ninth floor now features a new inpatient rehabilitation center, which includes a gym and dining room. Both will open on June 1.

“The specialized care and phsyician expertise provided on these new floors sets Medical City apart from other hospitals in Dallas-Fort Worth and North Texas,” said Medical City CEO Troy Villarreal.
